Rivian must recall certain vehicles

If the seat belt anchoring assembly is not securely attached, the client may detect a perceptible rattling noise from the height adjustment location. When changing the seat belt height, the client may detect excessive movement in the assembly. Rivian will examine and, if necessary, securely fasten the front seat belt assemblies free of charge. Rivian Automotive began constructing vehicles with the suspect seat belt assembly anchoring installations on 28th of January 2022, and terminated on 8th of August 2022, when Rivian discontinued building with the suspect seat belt assembly anchorage installations.

Rivian is not aware of any incidents or injuries connected to this concern in any market as of the date of the filing.
