Panasonic announced acquisition

Panasonic announced the acquisition of U.S. supply-chain software firm Blue Yonder for $6.45 billion. Panasonic thanks to the acquisition has to boost its supply chain management services. The Blue Yonder uses machine learning to help companies manage supply chains that connect factories to warehouses and retailers. The acquisition has to be managed from Panasonic's funds, although the company hesitating about loans or other financing. 

Panasonic said in an emailed statement: "This is not something that has been announced by our company. It is not true that it is something we have decided." 

Panasonic increased their stake after buying a 20% stake for $0.79 billion last year. Companies gained close connections gaining a seat for Panasonic in Blue Yonder‘s board after acquiring a minority stake in May.
