What this means is that robots now can listen to your commands and bring you a soda or desired snack. Not only this. They can also do house chores instead of you, for example vacuuming or other simple tasks. Last week was the first time that Alphabet presented these robots in action to public. With that they wanted to demonstrate, how easy it is to control it, so anyone would be able to do it.

However, robot is not yet ready for sale, as it is still in development and for now can only do a few dozen easy actions. And there is another catch, company is afraid that people will think of the robots as additional surveillance machines or that because of AI, the robot will speak offensively to its owner, as it happened with Meta’s chatbot recently. Despite all the concerns, Google will have to put production and development in second gear, as Amazon and Microsoft are also competing in this field to create their own robots.
