Toyota and Honda show strong data

Data released on Wednesday, many companies were hit by it, however, there is big difference between them, because Toyota for example said that together with Daihatsu and Hino Motors Ltd. they produced around 885 thousand vehicles globally for the month, which is an increase from the previous year for almost 11%. Besides that, they have also produced record number of vehicles since February in markets outside of Japan.

Toyota exceeded its February global production target by almost 41 thousand vehicles, which was set one month prior, however there was seen lower production in North America, because of Covid pandemic and as mentioned, chip problem. Same as Toyota, Honda reported rising of global production by 8,1% with around 345 thousand vehicles. Same data were shown also with comparing production in North America – where it was decline, and in Asia where it was an increase. On the other hand, Nissan and Subaru reported fall of production.
