Of particular concern is the allegation that FB essentially ignored information on drugs and human trafficking. The published documents show that the company employees regularly tagged information about drug cartels and traffickers on the platform, but the company's response was "weak".

Another problem is the lawsuit from the councils of its own shareholders. A group of shareholders said FB had given the US Federal Trade Commission $ 5 billion to resolve a scandal known as the Cambridge Analytica case.

The documents also show that Facebook knew that the Instagram platform was toxic to teenagers.
