Ryanair reports loss forecast

Company reported that this year in March, they have offered transport to 11.2 million people, compared to only 0.5 million people last year in the same period. It was the first time it has carried more people than in the same period before pandemic started. Now the estimates for full year are more than 100 million passengers, which is up from 27.5 million in the previous 12 months, but still below its pre-pandemic peak of around 150 million passengers.

The projected annual loss is now an improvement of 2021, when the airline recorded an after-tax loss of 815 million euros, after the pandemic stopped traffic around the world and forced the traveling to be put on hold.

The numbers and projections are including the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which cause the cancellation of 2000 flights, because Ryanair is one of the largest foreign operators in Ukraine.
