Ryanair and Wizz Air reported rise of passengers in June

The airline's load factor, which gauges how much seating capacity has been occupied by customers, increased from 72% to 95%. On the other hand, Wizz Air, based in Hungary, said it carried over 4.30 million passengers in June, an increase of more than 178 percent year on year. The carrier's monthly load factor increased to 86.1 percent from 64 percent.

The gains suggest to a possible rebound in airline demand, particularly during the peak summer travel season. However, problems continue for the firms and the wider airline industry. Ryanair is facing strikes from cabin crew unions throughout Europe, who are demanding salary increases and better working conditions. Wizz Air has warned of growing expenses due to flight cancellations and operational difficulties at airports, particularly in the United Kingdom.
